YOU ARE
NOT ALONE
Hi. I’m Patrick.
In December of 2024, my mom died from complications due to alcoholism. And that changed everything.
My head was in the clouds, usually thinking of my mom. I was distracted, out-of-tune, unmoored, and felt alone.
My corporate job became unimportant and meaningless compared to the weight of the grief.
I was impatient with my kids and disconnected from my partner.
I missed my mom. I still do.
What helped?
Community, talking about the grief, talking about my mom, and not expecting life to look the same as it did before my mom died.
We the Grievers is for every type of grief. We are here together. With each other. For each other.
